Yeah I'm pretty much there. The move itself is not appealing, though.DukieInKansas wrote:So you have definitely decided to take the new place?
I need to trust my gut (I'm totally in second-guessing mode). My gut told me that apartment was IT when I walked in to the model.

Re: LTE 2.0
Regarding my second-guessing mode- here's an example of how I operate.
First of all, I know "it" when I see "it". (Whatever "it" happens to be- apartment, townhouse, car, jewelry , etc.) Anyway, when I purchased my first car, the first test drive I took was an Acura Integra. Loved it but wasn't ready to commit. Proceeded to test drive just about every car that fit my requirements in my price range over the next 4 weeks (drove my parents NUTS ). What did I buy? Yep, went back to the Integra that I'd tested a month earlier.
Had pretty much the same experience when I bought my townhouse. Saw it, looked around a lot more, returned to it (though in a different part of town but exact same model).
So yes, I found the apartment, but now... hmmm... what if... know what I mean? I just need to pull the trigger and trust my gut.

Re: LTE 2.0
I'm here but only because my quiet night of reading was just disturbed by a friend who called me to tell me to get my ass over to her place where she and my roommate are drinking the night away. It is currently 1:43am and they're already half in the bag so I highly doubt I am going to bother. Then again, I did tell her I would be over earlier this afternoon but just never bothered. What to do, what to do...

Sue, you're a discriminating shopper, not indecisive! And while your gut is usually right, what about those shoes we were talking about?Sue71 wrote:Regarding my second-guessing mode- here's an example of how I operate.

Not sure exactly what year you purchased your first car, but back in 1986 (obviously waaaaaaaaaay before your purchase ;) ), I had the first year Acura Legend, which I absolutely loved. I also test drove the Integra and really liked the way it handled, but it was too small for my needs.
Your paradigm of optimism
