If you'd put that kid down, you'd post faster. Unless he is helping you.
I think it's about time for a new avatar involving Duke someway. Maybe just a "Class of 2014" picture.
I'm not so sure that's possible, unless you figured out time travel. Better talk to Mr. BD first.

...but a damn fine excuse! It could make for an easier way to make it thru the hub-bub of holiday time, letting others help out.
I hope you heal quickly.

Most of our music is a capella, and the entire choir was flat. I was next to someone who's about half deaf and doesn't know the music very well, bless her heart. She was about half a beat behind, flat, and scooping to get to the notes. It's incredibly hard to stay on pitch when you're standing at the end of the row and your only neighbor is scooping to end up a half step below where they're supposed to be.
Our choir works on the theory - bad rehearsal, good performance. Hope that works for you.

I realized last night that bells on Sunday are going to be a pain. I think everyone switches bells for each piece. I stay at the same spot but have to take apart a bell tree, remove the stand, put on the foam, and reset bells. I hope there is enough time!
I'm hoping the bad rehearsal thing holds. We've got another one tomorrow morning.

You win on the bells. I have the same ones for both pieces; no bell trees to worry about.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.
