I have some furniture built with wood from my parents' farm: an entertainment center (cherry), end tables (cherry), desk and bookshelves (oak), and headboard/dresser/cedar chest (all cedar).DukieInKansas wrote:Using the trees from your land for the floors is very cool. The floor material has been curing about 3 mo. now. I can't wait. After that, we paint the inside, then redo the kitchen & baths. I have no idea when all this will be completed.

This was so me today, sans computer. Was in meeting, after meeting, after meeting. Had to stay late to get some work done. Only reason I'm not there now is I had to deliver some documents to the hospital which is half way to my car. So, decided to go home and bring work with me. Not too much, just enough to get me slightly ahead of where I am now.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:OZZIE4DUKE wrote:OZZIE4DUKE wrote: Hey Tilly -

My morning and most of the work day blew chunks, but from 4 o'clock on it was good. I was even thinking that as the credits rolled..today was a good day.Very Duke Blue wrote: Sounds like your Tuesday is a much better day than your Monday.

If his doc thinks its ok to go back to work, its probablly better for your dad than sitting aound the house worryinh about his self. Good for his spirits.Bostondevil wrote:Still unclear on the diagnosis with my Dad but he's home. He has a heart monitor which he will wear for the next couple of days. He's planning to go to work tomorrow. I'm not keen on the idea.

I was thinking I could start a new John Wall thread that chronicles his every move... sort of like the local nightly news here in Lexington.bjornolf wrote:About lemurs? Lasers? The color of the sky?Lavabe wrote:I've been debating about making a post over yonder.
