Wow. That is a serious text. Glad she was able to get a later flight. :9f:
She's an English teacher. ;)

I'm wondering whether I need to pay the "unaccompanied minor" fee for her. Is there such thing as an unaccompanied senior fee?

If she was sitting at the gate, I can't believe someone didn't check with her to see if she was supposed to be on that flight. Glad she was able to find an alternate route. My nephew texts that way. It isn't uncommon for a text from him to come in 5 parts.

As a person who flew as an unaccompanied minor as a kid a lot, they used to do a lot for you. Now, as an adult who has picked up and dropped off several, it's really just a fee for having to deal with a kid. They don't really seem to do crap. The last time I picked a kid up, he was twelve, they didn't even walk him out or check my ID or anything. Now, maybe they do more for younger kids, but from what I've seen, they don't do anything special for any kid 10+, even though the fee is required up to 15 for some airlines.

Just what every redneck bride wants: pickups on her gown. :auto-gmcredsmiley:

Also, they are called sequins. Unless they formed a sequential pattern of sequins and the bride decided to call the pattern a sequence.

I think I know the bride's cousins.

This is the same newspaper that, in an article about an outstanding student, stated that, "Amanda wants to be a nurse ANTITHESIS." :9f:

Excerpt from the court article in the Martinsville Bulletin this morning:

Also Wednesday in Martinsville General District Court, a judge appointed a public defender to represent Demarcell Leigh Houp, who is charged with breaking and entering a dwelling during the daytime with intent to commit certain crime(s). The judge scheduled a court hearing for Oct. 28 at 3:15 p.m.

According to an arrest warrant and criminal complaint, Edward F. Hairston of Third Street, Martinsville, reported that sometime after he took a nap on Monday, he realized someone was in his home and he confronted the man, who left. The screen on the storm door had been cut and a pot pie from the kitchen had been eaten.

A fine question. I would break into a house for a chicken pie from one of the Rev. LG's churches. :9f:

My dislike for pot pies may well have kept me from a life of crime!

I had the same thought. The other snarky thought was, a homemade "pot" pie? Or maybe he had the pot before breaking in to eat the pie...

If you are on the local law enforcement "Most Wanted" Facebook slide show, you probably shouldn't show up to court as moral support for a friend on grand jury day. :9f:

In the middle of the night last night, I was driving the OP to Duke ER as he was having an episode with his AFIB. He was wondering what I had found to chuckle about. I was remembering this post!

FYI -- he's fine this morning. They shot the juice to him, got his heart's attention, and he's back to being his silly self. See y'all Saturday.
Love, Ima

Glad the OP is back to his usual silly self. Equally glad that you found something to chuckle about during that drive to the ER.
