I did not leave the house. Harley has been letting me know how much he missed me.

Yesterday, We went out in search of a used, collapsible wheelchair for MIL. We have two back at home base. Alas, the key word in the previous sentence is "back home". No such luck here, for now, but today is a new day. The search will continue.
In our search, we did pick up a couple of other finds, these, of a collectable nature. A teapot and a lithograph print.
Went across 21st Ave last night for a burger & beer at River City Cafe. Tasty. Evil...but still, tasty.

Have you looked for a rental wheelchair? I am almost sure they are available.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think trouble has been solved.

I assume you did not go trolling/chumming for sharks with your MIL?

This thread title, I probably should have edited to include..."(or Yesterday)?", at the end.
Yesterday, I burned gasoline to sightsee some nearby roadways I haven't seen in many Moons. Then the rest of the daylight hours were spent in lunch and conversation with relatives in the courtyard area of The House of Blues.
BTW, Trey Anastasio will be performing there this Friday night, followed by Steve Miller on Saturday.

I love the House of Blues! I spent some time at the HoB in Las Vegas on Friday. What a fun place!

One of our group, a cousin, worked as part of the wait staff here up until about a year ago, leaving on good terms for a higher paying opportunity.

Yesterday afternoon, Bud and I went to Cary to visit and have dinner with one of his classmates and her daughter. Carol lives in Alaska in the summer and Arizona in the winter. Katie lives in Cary.

So far ..... out to have a manicure,
then to Panera for lunch,
then to A.C. Moore and Bed Bath and Beyond.
Then home to put another coat of Duke Blue paint on my mailbox

....
Now to the airport to pick up the OP.
He's flying in from London. Haven't figured out supper yet. Guess I'll visit the "What's for Supper thread for ideas."
Love, Ima

I went to the grocery store. We were going to the lake this evening but Bud may have torn a hamstring. Looks like he will be seeing his orthopedic PA friend tomorrow.
