Caution on Lap 20: Debris
Edwards followed by the Busches. There will be a competition yellow on lap 40, due to excessive rain last night (washed off all the rubber on the track).

Harvick tapped Edwards; so did Burton.
Harvick spun and crashed.

In other news, DW was talking about some engine issues for Logano.

Others involved:

Most of these cars are out.

I've never heard the term "competition yellow." what does it mean?

BY THE WAY... Jeff Gordon is now in fourth. Quick repairs off the last one.
Ambrose is still alive and racing.
Jr evaded the damage, but wound up speeding in the pits.
Hamlin, Newman, Gordon, Menard, Smoke are in the front.

15 cars are in the garage.
2 cars were one lap racers.
Green flag again.

NASCAR mandates a yellow at a certain point.
In this case, it was done to check tire and brake wear, given the rains last night. It's done for safety.

Lap 126: David Ragan blew a tire and crashed into the wall. He's okay, but is now walking to the NASCAR support crew.

Everyone will pit. JPM is the Lucky Dog.
Truex had trouble with his left front and loses places. I think he got tapped by Ragan.

I had JJ as a starter and Edwards on the bench but, after Edwards won the pole I switched them but that doesn't seem like such a great decision now. Actually, based on their current positions, I'd like to swap all of my bench drivers in for my starters!

This is the most wacky race I've seen in a while.
96 laps to go: Caution: Logano into the garage
JG, JJ, Blech, Smoke, Harvick, Kurt, KK, Kenseth, Newman, MM, Dinger, Jr, Hamlin.
2/3 of the cars into the pits.

I had JJ as a starter, then switched to Hamlin. UGGH!
On the bright side, I chose Truex in place of Burton.
