Look at how much business Kentucky lost last night, and the legal action Kentucky some retailers were prepared to do: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... s-millions

Stay classy, UK fans!! :Boo:

Lavabe wrote:Dear Maryland,
I apologize for all the things I said about your fans being the worst. UK twittersphere and facebook shows that we should perhaps retire the term TERPING and replace it with CATTING. I have seen too many references to "being robbed" or complaining that the refs cost UK the game. As if the lack of rebounding and a 7-point loss resulted solely from the actions of a ref. And yes, ALL THE CALLS went in favor of Wisconsin. And yes, the facebook re-posting of the Wisconsin shot that was taken after the shot-clock read zero (but was it taken before the horn sounded?). Yep, UK has somehow out-TERPED the TERPS.

From now on (and especially since you are no longer in the ACC), I am no longer recognizing the term TERPING as a verb.
Have fun in the Big 16 (or whatever conference you are now in)!

P.S. Stay classy, UK! :Boo:
QFE. :9f: and take Kentucky with you.

Lavabe wrote:I've read several reports that some of the UK players really did not shake hands with Wisconsin after the game.
If that's the case, stay classy, UK! :Boo:

Some of them did not and were shown on camera leaving the court. Watching the Kentucky Team Stream the announcers were livid...one of them tried to excuse it because 'they were young kids' and the other immediately said "I've taken a beating, you've taken a beating...you stand up and shake hands. No excuse'

I guess UK went the FSU school of sportsmanship.

Bet they are all sorry now that they didn't do their net cutting at Regionals! The no hand shaking just shows what kind of kids they are and what kind of coach would even allow that!

No classes today, but wearing it in office hours.
Will certainly wear tomorrow when I have classes.
NOTE: I suspect that the high absentee rate in my Monday classes was related to the UK loss.

Mom lives in Bob Green's neck of the woods, not the land of the missing D and E, but she informed me tonight that she is going to trash talk her hairdresser the Kentucky fan on Friday, including wearing her "Duke Mom" sweatshirt. :duke: :9f:

Mom is braver than I am. There are a lot of people I would trash talk, but my hair dresser is NOT one of those people. I would be afraid of what I would look like afterward. :duke: :9f:

At work the other day, ILJ was handling an IT issue with someone in the company. When she basically had to spill the beans and say that she graduated Duke, the conversation got very quiet very quickly.

In answer to your question, YES. :D
