I love Mark but he has faired well at this track! How did I do for my first stab at this?

Does this really tip my hand, if I had not posted, would you guys still be able to see my picks? Remember I am still learning....

IIRC, we can't see them until after the race has started (or maybe after it has ended).

Nope. We can't see em until the race starts. Gotta go change my lineup now. ;-)

We can't see each other's picks until after the 1st deadline. At that point we can see each other's prerace roster. For example, I can NOW see colchar's picks of Jeff Gordon and MM. However, if colchar changes his mind and switches to MM (putting Gordon on the bench), I won't be able to tell until after the race.

Normally, you should not tip your hand in advance of the 1st deadline. However, Bones proved to all of us that: 1) he submitted his picks; and 2) he chose someone other than MM. In all fairness, I sometimes tipped my hand last year for the discussion with Tilly and Ymo, especially as the league got really tight near the end of the year. Also, I tipped my hand several times when I was abroad, just because... well, because.

See now, we have something REALLY amazing:

TILLY PICKED BLECH!!!!!!!!!!
:-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o

Write down this day in history.

Turns out, Tilly and I have the exact same picks except for one driver in Group C, in which I picked Menard and she picked Sam Hornish Jr.

In all fairness, Tilly picked Blech for her bench. She's going with Biff.

BUT STILL, SHE PICKED BLECH!!!

Undoubtedly, Tilly probably realizes that Blech's hometown course IS Las Vegas, and he did well there 2-3 years ago.

As I've stated before, I hate the guy, but he does win races. It's all about winning. He does well at Vegas, perhaps because that's home.

Notice that while Jr is my fav driver, I don't use all my picks for him, as, well he sucks right now. When he improves I'll start to pick him more often.

If I'd picked Speed instead of dinger last week, which is what my gut was telling me, I would have kicked everyone's arse.

Are we all going to have one designated do-over this year. THAT would be cool.

I don't think ANYONE was kicking Ymo's arse last week, Scott Speed or whatever. After two weeks, he's #512 overall... IN THE WHOLE YAHOO LEAGUE!! :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Awesome work!!

Seriously, is there some sort of league competition? I thought we did pretty well most of last year.

Funny, I can't see anyone else's picks right now.

From your roster all you need to do is click CTN'10, then click Group Picks.

Is that not working for you?

Yeah that works. Thanks. I had been trying to see people's picks by looking at them individually (eg. clicking on your name to see yours).

I'm not happy with my picks this week at the moment. But we'll see what happens on Sunday. My mind was elsewhere...

I watched the Nationwide race up to the point that Danica wiped out. Not sure that she handled the interview afterwards that well.

I think I slipped to fourth place.

Now the question is whether or not to use up your JJ picks early.
