Yes, I'm fluffy!

But I've never been endowed before. This is fun.

In the early 1980s, it was the combination to the locker room door in Cameron Indoor.

At that time, we only had 2 retired jerseys, and if the players forgot the locker room door combination, they only had to walk back into the gym and look at the numbers hanging from the rafters.

That's cool. Glad I inadvertently walked into that one.
Thanks for the story. Can I have my animal crackers now?

Yes. You can have an entire box. Just don't get crumbs on the sofa cushions. And be careful with that cup of apple juice.

Why do they call them animal crackers? They're much more nearly cookies than crackers. Really, they're closest to shortbread, which technically doesn't classify as either, but it still seems to me that they should be called "animal cookies." Similar to the old McDonaldland Cookies, which were quite near in size, taste and consistency to your typical animal cracker. When I think "cracker," I think of something crispy and salty. Something that is almost always tastiest when enjoyed with a spread, dip, or other topping. Not something with the gentle crunch and smooth finish of an animal cracker. I suppose I'll grant that the phrase "animal cracker" is slightly more euphonious than "animal cookie," but the difference is negligible in my opinion. I'd love to know who made this initial decision, and why it hasn't been shouted down by the voices of logic over the years.
