Shot on goal.... Miss!

Turnover!

Who the hell wants to watch a sport where they spend all their time losing the puck and missing goals?

*ducks*
They do all that in soccer, too. At least in hockey they beat the shit out of the other guy for stealing their puck.
Yeah I don't watch soccer either.

If you do give me the honor, I plan to have it coincide with my 1000th post. That also means I won't be participating all that much, just reading.

Lavabe, count me on the growing list of people who favor toaster ovens.
The one thing I don't like about toaster ovens..they are energy hogs..and for the most part it's wasted energy..not very efficient.
Is it more or less efficient than a regular oven? I've often thrown something in the toaster oven to avoid heating up my regular oven. Is that a bad thing to do?
That is what I do - I use it instead of the full sized oven.

When I'm cooking for myself, I use the toaster to cook a piece of chicken instead of heating up the whole oven for one itty bitty piece of chicken.
Right - I do the same thing. Would it change your strategy if it was more energy efficient to use the regular oven? Mine might. I have occasionally noticed that things take longer to cook in the toaster oven, which might seem to indicate that the regular oven would use less energy. My guess is that you're losing more heat to the surroundings with the toaster oven. :-B

I think it takes as long to cook in the toaster as in the oven. I do think it takes longer for the oven to heat up than for the toaster to.

Very nice! Sounds like a good plan to me.
