I guess I don't understand the elbow test. I just had my wife, who is better endowed than any woman I know (see other thread), take it, and it was a tie between her feet (she wears a size 11) and her elbows. I just don't see how anyone short of Dolly Pardon would pass it if she can't.

That answers that question! I just got an albuterol inhaler, too - I'm also having problems with a wheezing cough. Mold count must be astronomical right now - at least, that's my problem. Do you have a similar allergy?

I've always had allergies - seasonal (grasses, trees, weeds), mold, animal dander. I've never been diagnosed with asthma. It sounds like old age is catching up to me. I've always tended to just take a claritin or zyrtec or something when my nose is drippy. This wheezing heavy chest and cough is pretty new to me.

It doesn't have much. Did they show you how to use the inhaler before the gave it to you? Not using it properly will render it pretty useless.

Yeah he showed me. Hold it 1-2 inches out, make a puff and inhale it. Don't jam it all the way in and spray the back of your throat.

CVS gave me this tube thing you connect to the med, it's 5-6 inches long, clear. That's supposed to help too.

Thanks for the info! I got the inhaler but not the instructions.

I've had stomach problems for years, including one that simply cannot be diagnosed - but, thankfully, I haven't had an attack in over a year. I also suffer from GERD and I currently take a pill (not Zantac) for that each day and it solves the problem for me.
