Oh! It's an appetizer and not a desert. Now I understand! B-)

Rookie mistake...
Um, no. When I was a teenager, the club we belonged to had a weekly mid-week "grand buffet". I'd start with 2 or 3 slices of prime rib, have desert, another slice of prime rib (it was REALLY REALLY good!) and then have some salad or side dishes if I felt like it, just to "cleanse the pallet". :D When it comes to attacking a buffet to maximize MY satisfaction, I'm a pro. :D B-)
What kind of teenage club did THAT kind of eating?

Apparently reflux can exacerbate asthma symptoms, so I've been told to get my acid under control.

Not for asthma you didn't. Now you're just experimenting and having fun. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
He said the doc told him he had GERD, too, so I can understand this choice.

I haven't been drunk in years - and won't be at the wedding....if there is a story to tell about someone getting hammered and doing something stupid I will not be the punch line to that story.
Oh my gosh. I've been the punchline to that story so many time. I'm glad I can laugh at myself. =))

I don't mind being the punch line...I just don't to be the punchline at my daughters wedding. :))

Add to that I get wicked horrible hangovers if I over indulge even a littel bit and my "I was so drunk that..." days are behind me.

The Big Crunch with extra mayo absolutely rocks.
Mayo is one of the most worthless things ever created... IMHO. Lots of wasted fat grams and cholesterol.

Yeah... I'm in a foul mood. :ymtongue:
Not Duke's mayonnaise. It gives texture to food, and it has paprika in it. YUM.

I have a friend who refers to mayo as "emulsified botulism waiting for a temperature"

I love mayo. Hellmanns or nothin'. One of the few things I am brand specific about.

What kind of teenage club did THAT kind of eating?
A number of possibilities:

1. Junior Weight Watchers
2. Future Lardasses of America
3. The OL Club of Pinecrest HS
4. The See Food Club of Coastal Florida
