I keep forgetting to put a "good night" post in this thread. I'm so tired, and the nieces and nephews are so rowdy, that I simply retreat to my room for the quiet.

I have retreated to my room before the nieces and nephews have quieted down for the night. I remembered to post in this thread. Perhaps I am catching up on my rest while I'm on vacation.

After a long day on the road, mostly riding for a change - I drove most of SC, as the son-in-law did most of the driving, after all, it's their van, we're in Pompano Beach. Between one traffic detour, stopping a couple of times to let Ruthie run around at rest stops, and then actually stopping to eat dinner at a sit-down restaurant (and lunch IN McDonald's instead of in the vehicle), our 12+ hour drive took almost 16 hours.
