I am the child of a woman who kept a Mickey Mantle scrapbook. I spent countless summer nights in my youth in Yankee Stadium. Yankee games on radio and/or TV were a fixture in my house growing up. The odds of my switching my allegiance from the Yankees is about the same as the odds of my giving up on the Blue Devils.

I never kept a scrap book, but I do have an autographed picture of Mantle posing a "stretch" at first base from 1966 or 67 when he moved to first from the outfield. My grandfather got it for me!
