Traveling to Kentucky today. Hopefully the weather will be good. Hopefully I'll have the NASCAR race on the radio.
What will Ozzie do tonight: baseball or football?

I don't care who is playing football.

California: just coming off baseball season... now it's time for LAKER season. Who are the Kings?
Arizona: The Coyotes. Think they'll last in Phoenix HOW much longer?
New Mexico: No hockey.
Texas: The Stars are swamped out right now by college football and NFL.
Louisiana: No hockey.
Mississippi: No hockey
Alabama: No hockey.
Florida: Lightning and Panthers, but COME ON... it's COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON.
Sounds like Bettman has done a bang up job with his southern States strategy!
Nevada: No hockey.
Utah: No hockey.
Colorado: Okay, the Avs!!
Kansas: No hockey.
Oklahoma: No hockey.
Arkansas: No hockey.
Missouri: Blues!! They actually command a good following in St. Louis.
Kentucky: No hockey.
Tennessee: Preds. Considering that the Titans stink this year, the Preds should gain a following.
Georgia: Thrashers... but really, who in Atlanta is REALLY following them during college football season? Oh yeah, and during the NBA season.
SCarolina: No Hockey
NCarolina: Seriously... who at this time of year is REALLY following the 'Canes? This is not a sarcastic comment... it's a genuine question.
I guess Bettman did well with 4 or 5 states.
Hey! California has my
San Jose Sharks!

Not really. And quite honestly, I hope I have this feeling of excitement and contentment over my teams all the time!

I got ambitious today: got out my drill driver and prepared several pictures to be hung on the wall (had to put the gizmos on the frame that hold wire), hung some wall decor, made black beans and yellow rice (cooking now), and mopped my kitchen and bathroom floors. Man, am I tired! On the bright side, supper is almost ready!

I'm watching "The Blob" on TCM. It's the original with Steve McQueen (credited as Steven, ha!) Haven't seen this movie in years.

Your day sounds successful. I got my work done early afternoon. DukePA and CBAB left mid-morning and Bud was on his way from from the mountains of SW Va. Easy when no one is home. We had chicken ceaser salad for dinner. Your black beans and yellow rice sounds very good.
ArkDukie, you need to come for a brunchgate in the near future, along with others in far away places. GO DUKE!

I'm back in Atlanta, in the tub. One more book to finish tonight, bed at 10ish.
What a great weekend (aside from the Falcons crapping the bed today).
