I can install a chat room to this board, it seems to work really well, but it's a little tricky to set up. I'll give it a shot when I have some free time.Shammrog wrote:Anyone suggested chat yet?

How about Canadian flag and Union flag (Union Jack) smilies?

I obviously just found one for the Scottish flag but would still like to find the other two.

Found them but can't fit all three into my signature because it takes me over the character limit. Can that limit be increased?

I could always photoshop a Kiwi flag into a photo of her...

I would prefer the character limit in sigs be raised so that I could include the Scottish flag in my sig and then be able to change my avatar to something else.

Awesome, thank you.
I'll deal with it Saturday afternoon as it's drinking time now.

Re: Site and Forum Suggestion List
Chris - my plan was to work on this on the side, but time hasn't permitted to date. If you would like some help, let me know..... I'd love to partake in the fun! Here is the AJAX chat link download I mentioned last week: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=214758CameronBornAndBred wrote:I can install a chat room to this board, it seems to work really well, but it's a little tricky to set up. On a more serious note, is there a way to enable linking within quotes? In other words if I quote your post or part of it, can the quote be linked back to the original post?

Re: Site and Forum Suggestion List
I don't know. I don't think so, but I'll look into it. Also, to CLbunchanumbers question about the chat function, there is a mod to create a chat room using the code as it is now, but I haven't had time to do anything with it. Miles has offered to help out once he gets settled in NC, so keep an eye out for site changes, and keep the suggestions coming.YmoBeThere wrote:On a more serious note, is there a way to enable linking within quotes? Is there a way force URLs to open in another browser? When you click them now, they stay in the current tab and take you away from crazietalk.

I'm looking. I don't like that either, I'm sure there is a way to change it.Miles wrote:Is there a way force URLs to open in another browser? When you click them now, they stay in the current tab and take you away from crazietalk.

You can always just hold down the shift key when clicking on the link.

You can also right click the link and select "Open Link in a New Tab (or in a new Window)" from the drop-down menu that appears.Miles wrote:Is there a way force URLs to open in another browser? When you click them now, they stay in the current tab and take you away from crazietalk.
