Actually, on second thought, this just gives the Gunners an even better opportunity to prove their superiority! :D
Thanks for the tip... I'll move him off my starting lineup. Oh yeah, and now I need a new captain!
Yeah, I had to find a new one as well. ;)
Fortunately, I went with El Nino.
If there was just SOME way for me to get Gerrard on my team... ^:)^ ^:)^

Beat ManU!!

Oh well. And the Blues just keep on rolling. 4 games, 12 points. Can't ask for much more.

There was about a 15 minute stretch when I felt Chelsea would win 6-0.

Spurs have started off hot, but I just sense a MAJOR implode coming up REAL soon.

I wonder what will happen if Platini gets his way with his CL plan. He wants to prevent teams from playing in the CL if they don't address their debts.

Ugh, I finally got a chance to watch the Arsenal ManU game... what a game...
The 96th minute offsides goal had me jumping (if I didn't have my biology book in my lap) -- mentally, and then I realized it was offsides. AHHH....

Finally having a decent week in Fantasy.
Torres as captain worked out well.

Yes it did.

But GALLAS stunk it up BIG TIME, as did Almunia.

Will Fabregas play in a couple of weeks? Will he be leaving the team to join a Spanish team?

Gallas did well in the first half... Not the same story in the second.
Fabregas should be able to play soon, I think. I hope.
And he better not leave to join a Spanish team! Those are just rumors, hopefully. :?

Anyone play I Know The Score on www.premierleague.com

If anyone does or is interested we can start a CTN Mini-League and compete against each other.

Another WC Qualifier victory for Sam's Army last night, 1-0 over Trinidad & Tobago.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=279350&cc=5901
The U.S. now leads the CONCACAF qualifying standings, and will clinch a berth with a victory or two ties in the final two qualifiers, at Honduras and at home against Costa Rica (both relatively tall orders).

Costa Rica has looked like shit recently, losing at home to Mexico 3-0 on Saturday and losing the El Salvador 1-0 last night. Going into Honduras and coming out with 3 points seems unlikely.

The U.S. did NOT look good last night, especially in the first half. The T&T shot off the top bar was SOOOOO close. Having said that, a road win is a road win. We'll take it.

Hey CellR... check out the transfer market in our league. The values of all the players have changed. Check and see what your updated salary limit is. I wound up ditching Mascherano & Stevie Ireland in my midfield, but wound up getting Stevie G. So I now have El Nino, Stevie G, Super Cesc, and Glen Johnson on my team.

I also just ditched Spurs' Keane. Spurs annoy me. They're due for a massive fall.
