That's probably later..but I know where you're talking about. I'll get up with both of you later today.

Looks like an extremely outer band of light showers is about to get to I-95 and me.

Right now they have me with sustained winds of about 40-50MPH...if that's all it's going to be then I'm leaning towards staying. I know where the closest trees are and if it gets bad I can find a protected spot in here. It looks like we'll start getting the most of it around 8 pm and it will continue through midnight or so, at which point Earl will have advanced far enough north to no longer be a threat. Crossing fingers still.

Serious vibes that the winds are minimal and there isn't any damage to your home.

Have you talked to DukePA today?

That rain band I mentioned came through and we got a few drops on the ground, just enough to wet the car.

Stevo and Adam are staying. I'm at my sister's in Kenansville so that I won't have to mess with dealing with the bridge tomorrow morning 'cause I gotta work. It will be fun to hang out with Max.

Steve and Adam vs. Earl

There's a story there somewhere.

So far, Earl is a non-event here.

We've had some gusts. I was napping and pine cones hitting the roof woke me up. I don't think it will be really active until 11 or so, and luckily for you Greeneville seems to be out of Earl's picture.

The Weather Channel just put up a graphic which misspelled "DelAware." They used an E instead. DUH.

Batten down the hatches and be safe. Hope that new grill doesn't get dinged!

It was tempting to bring it back inside, but I've left it out on the porch to brave the storm. Since I've cooked on it, I'll be starving if it's in here tempting me with it's aroma.

They also listed Palmicko and Beauford counties as mandatory evacuation areas. Sheesh.

The Weather Channel sucks for far more than spelling errors. They are fear mongers. I'll explain more at tail/bruncghate.

You're posting, so I assume things are going well? Is it mostly gone?

It was well to the east, we have barely been touched. Winter noreasters have been cause for more concern. (And I'm very happy about that)
