After the beer, don't wake up dead.
If you are dead, would you wake up?

I don't know yet. I'll let you know when I find out.

Post when you know...if you don't post for a while, we probably have our answer that way also.

I finished the Malibu tonight. On to the Parrot Bay. (Wishing I had Bacardi Coco...)

Hi. It's me again. Opted not to get the Parrot Bay out. Stopped drinking :-o not that I had that much to begin with. Grabbed some strawberries instead (Miles, they were pretty ok... not as tart as the ones we had earlier).

I'm trying to entertain myself right now so I don't go to bed too early, hence waking up at 3 or 4am...

Hmm.

Mmmmmm, strawberries. My wife has been on a chocolate covered strawberry candy quest. It's sad to watch, but if she finds them I'll indulge too.

I do remember that the Dodgers lost in 13 today. Yeah that was sucky. And hot.

I like the new mascara I got better than the other one I have. I was a little hesitant to buy it at first but glad I got it.

I think I'm going to look at apartments this week. Time for lease renewal here and I don't have to move but I want to see what else there is and then go check a few out. I don't have to move so no pressure.

I'm getting ready to move back in with my mom for about eight months, beginning at the end of the summer. It's really not the most thrilling prospect to be doing so, but Mom generally respects our space, and I'll be able to save a boatload of cash before leaving next May for my big research year. in the long term, it's definitely the smart thing for me to do.

I lived with my parents for about 6 weeks while I bought my townhouse in Vegas... not a pretty 6 weeks. We get along and all but my parents revert back to thinking that I'm still 12...

Wilson, where are you going for your big research year?

I've done it, for a summer. Parents are awesome for welcoming you back.

~o) Sominex? Do they still make that stuff?
I crashed right after logging out from here last night but sleep was short. 4 hours later I was up an' atem with no place to go and nuttin' to do. More of this... ~o) does not help the situation. I'm gonna lay out of work today. To Hell wid it, I is tired. I'll sleep when I feel like it. Plus, a friend is having triple by-pass this morning and the First Mate will be wanting to attend to his wife so she doesn't collapse from the fright of his appearance post-op. I'll be expected to pappy-sit the Father-in-law while she's gone. Life just couldn't be better. \:D/

Summer/fall 2010 I'll be in Columbia, SC. I'll come back to Atlanta for the month of December (collect my thoughts, organize things, celebrate The Most Wonderful Time of the Year), then first of the year 2011, I'm off to Charleston. If I end up really liking living there (and really, how could I not?), then I may stay there for the following year and write my dissertation there. I can think of far worse fates.

So I woke up at 5 this morning with an excruciating- wait, that word isn't strong enough... hmmm can't think of one so let's say excruciating x 10- headache in my LEFT EYE. Yes, my left eye. And temple. And nose/sinus. Basically that area of my head but I thought my eye was going to explode. :(( :(( :((

I dragged myself to the bathroom to get some meds. I took them. I got back in bed & waited. Got *really* nauseous. :ymsick: Flipped to the other side. Still nauseous. :ymsick: :ymsick: :ymsick: Pain didn't get better. 8-x 8-x After about 30 min of this & thinking I was going to get sick to my stomach (seriously), I was able to at least fall back to sleep.

So I went in late to work today. And I am here, exhausted and really doing a whole lot of nothing. :ymsigh:
