It was always considered an honor to be in the advance party, even though it meant more work. Basically, the kids that got there a couple hours later needed to pitch their tents and then line up for dinner.
I would gladly send my kid in the advance party.

In fact, he's one of the older Scouts on this camping trip, a fact he pointed to with pride last evening.

The Boy Scouts have really helped me raise this kid. I am so grateful.

Mornin'!
The 'Good' part of it remains to be seen. I'm hopeful, though.

Good morning. Happy Columbus Day! :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncyblue: For excitement today, I will go to Petco and buy dog food and treats at the treat bar. And I will replace one of the dead grill tanks. And I will find something positively yummy for supper. I'm thinking fish on the grill with broccoli slaw and brown rice and green beans and a nice bottle of wine. :duke:

Good Morning. This used to be a company holiday. Boy, those startup days were fun. It sucks now that we have to act like a real company, with real holidays.

Good morning, all! It's my last day in Little Rock and the first day I haven't been babysitting my sick niece. We had a fun time, or as much fun as we could given the situation. Today is a day for visiting friends and former coworkers while trying not to run into my former boss.

Good morning. Yesterday my alarm went off at 6 and woke me from a deep sleep. Today, with no alarm set, I woke up at 5 with no intention of getting up early. Yet here I sit, not ready for ~O) with hopes of going back to sleep soon.

Good morning! I rarely use my alarm clock, generally the only time is when I have to get up really early to catch a flight.

That was basically my point, although I wasn't catching a flight but had to get to something at 7:30 yesterday. I usually wake up between 6:30 and 7:00 on my own, but 5:00 today was an annoyance, or perhaps an irritation.
