Oh please. We all know you've been 'acting' on them already...
Yes, but only by myself.
That was exactly what I meant.

Lol
So mom's not home so I am left to fend for myself. But I figured out the avatar only mine is the size of a hummingbird's egg so I have to work on fixing that. And I even added a signature, so I think I am good to go for the site!

Love the sig, WD. Welcome. If these wastrels do offend thee, I shall seek to defend in your mother's place. ;)

As for Sham, I'm sure you can correct this deficiency in your pursuit of the apple by simply allowing your current significant other to peruse this thread. That should take care of it. %%-

That would be if I had a significant other, although like my mother I am quick and rather a smart a...(I'm not sure about rules with language here) so I think I can handle them! :)
Thank you for stepping up to the mother plate. And for the signature comment.

Your children are adorable!!! I am going to school to be a teacher..so I love children, even though the ones I want to teach need a lot of help (Special Education) and I do have a special love for the EBD students (emotional behavior disorders) but Monday a Kindergarten student threw a rocking chair across the room, and the other class Wed. (4th-5th) threw an entire isolation desk (big desk with walls basically) so it can be a little uhm... unnerving! :-??

My mom taught special ed for ten years. She taught deaf kids how to read lips and communicate in both words and sign language.

Don't worry too much about the language issue. We're pretty easy going around here. Heck, most of the time we just don't give a fuck.

You mean the gray areas in quotes? Just hit the quote button in the upper right of the post you want to quote. If you didn't mean that, I'll shut it now.

The ones by EarlJam? Don't worry, we've known him for a while and he still manages to weird us out too!

Good thing you said "heck". I thought I'd have to censor you.

I figured that, since I was expressing an emotion rather than swearing gratuitously, it was acceptable.

As a spectator of this wonderful thread, I've been waiting for the line to be crossed. And then I read a poem about horses and <ahem> cranium and realized that if we haven't reached that point yet, it's not coming.

Mods, shouldn't this be merged with the poetry thread since they marginally touch on the same topic? Oh wait, wrong board.

Thanks so much for your comments about my kids. I think they're pretty cute too, but I'm a little biased. ;) If you want to see Katie in her Easter dress and a few other pix of the kids, you can go to my site at www.flickr.com/photos/bjornolf . I think there's a photo or two of her floating around here, too. Sorry, if there's one thing that I AM a whore about, it's showing off pix of my kids.
