Re: Root for ME!!!! (To Beat wilson in Scrabble)
I seem to faintly remember a time when I enjoyed having vowels and consonants on my rack at the same time.

So WHEN was your last bingo of me? It took TWO wildcards too! Karma finally revisited you. Congrats!!wilson wrote:So Lav, what was that about end games?
In the meantime, I'm taking it out on BD.
As for BOVid, I made my turn a while ago, and I have YET to see a response. Are you sure you sent one?
Cheers,

Re: Root for ME!!!! (To Beat wilson in Scrabble)
So wilson beats me with an amazing double wild-card bingo near the end, in a close game. The result is that he now has the higher rating. He jumped up 40+ points in his rating, while I lost some 20 or so points. The calculation of rating is strange.

Geez, how in the world do you guys get these big words all the time? I'm lucky if my letter combo's amount to 6 letter words which doesn't seem to happen very frequently.Lavabe wrote:So wilson beats me with an amazing double wild-card bingo near the end, in a close game. See my post earlier in this thread. I don't put a great deal of stock in the ratings...you and I are pretty even in terms of head-to-head record.Lavabe wrote:So wilson beats me with an amazing double wild-card bingo near the end, in a close game. Re: Root for ME!!!! (To Beat wilson in Scrabble)
CL made mention of getting a rack of vowels, to which someone suggested he would then be CL "BunchOfVowels," or BOV. I just merely added the suffix -id. "Bovid" also refers to ruminants, such as cattle, oxen, goats, sheep, and antelope, that have hollow, unbranching horns. Hence, the use of the cattle emoticon.CathyCA wrote:Who is BOVid and why are you asking me?

BOVid is outside edging and blowing the driveway right now. He's been a busy guy today getting stuff done around here.

My next turn is not going to be much fun. My collection of letters looks a bit like BOVid's right now.

I wouldn't say I made it back into the game, but at least it's not quite the beat down it started out to be.Lavabe wrote:I'm not taking it out on you. Nor am I taking it out on BD (who just bingoed back into our game).ArkieDukie wrote:
