Southern Durham HS 4* running back Jordon Brown also committed to Carolina last week. Coach Fedora is convincing these guys football is in the clear so no future penalties are going to take place. The bad stuff is in the rear view mirror, the academics have been cleaned up, the miscreants are out of the program, yada, yada, yada...devildeac wrote:Enjoy your probation and punishments, young man.
My take:
1. A lot of young people are naïve.
2. A lot of young athletes do not care about the education piece of college athletics.
My question: where is the parental oversight? Are they dumb? Or simply allowing their children to make their own decision no matter how bad it is? Putting the Duke/Carolina rivalry aside and analyzing the situation from a neutral perspective results in realizing Carolina is a bad place for an athlete to go to college right now and for the next two or three years.
Back to Jordon Brown, he is an all purpose back so his future at Carolina is projected to be as a slot receiver.
