The "Official" SFD Thread - Season Over

Blocking is one of the best features on FB. I also have several lists. For instance, yesterday I spent most of my time looking at the "Duke University" list feed so that I didn't have to witness the mess that some of my acquaintances were spewing.

This MB also has a nifty ignore feature. I use it, too. That keeps me happy most of the time.

I use it too...and the ignore in Section 21. Keeps my snark-o-meter in check!

The commercial that gets to me is the Chevy Malibu one, where the dude in the backseat is complaining that the driver turned down the Spandau Ballet on the stereo so he could admire a feature on his car that made a noise. Hey! Backseat guy, turn in your Man-card now, if not sooner!

Lol DPA! I too went on a huge culling spree - followed by 3 episodes of the walking dead! (Needed something with a lot of killing!) I checked FB this morning and was pleasantly surprised. Without all the hole fucktardery it was a refreshing experience. I left a few good friends who happen to be holes fans, but their discourse was subtle and polite. I'm kicking myself for Keeping the rest of them in my feed for so long. And you're right, the worst ones not only didn't go to UNC, but college in general. Can't spell waLmART SHopping cEntEr without tarheels! Ok, that's kind of a stretch.

Fortunately my facebook feed was quiet. I tend to not unfriend people I actually know (I have a bunch of dog training folks who are friends of real friends, but they tend to limit themselves to 'doggie' related topics) I do liberally block feeds - I will check in on their pages from time to time to see what's up but don't have to see their annoying (usually religious) drivel. I certainly would catch hell for unfriending one of my step daughters, but I don't want to see her drama on a day to day basis!!

I do know the people I defriended having grown with them in Tar Hole central. I was nice to them during the 2010 season and tried to set a good example. They have no class, so buh-bye!
