I've heard it brought up a fair amount. I don't think the current players really give a rat's patootie about all that. You can bet Coach K is pounding it into their brains not to care about it.
The other day, when talking to the press after the open practice, Kyrie was asked about the controversy, and he quickly and flatly responded that he had nothing to say about it.
I suspect that that storyline matters a lot more to we the fans than it does to anyone in either locker room.
Agreed to some extent. Yes, I believe it means far less (if nothing at all) to the current Duke players. But I can't help but think the Michigan players are, even at some small level, are thinking payback. Again, just a little bit.

If anything, I'd say the desire for payback applies more to the Duke players than the Michigan ones.

Agree Wilson, I think the motivation is all on our side. We made need to send Jalen a "thank you' note

One would think, that with as much money as John Calipari makes, his wife could afford a good cosmetic dentist and a good hair colorist.
With as little money as I make, I keep one of each on my personal payroll.

Temple was giving SDSU some problems early, but as the game approached halftime, the Aztecs have jumped out to a 31-21 lead. I watched Florida - UCLA earlier and the Gators looked good.

Wild finish to the Butler-Pitt game, but Butler pulled it out. The first #1 seed goes down. How about another Duke-Butler final?

This ended up being a really good game. Temple took them to 2OT's before SDSU pulled it out.

If I am counting correctly, the best the Big East can do is get 3 teams into the sweet 16. Just like the ACC. Interesting.

Wisc with the stupid-ass foul on a 3 pointer by Pullen. Hit all 3 and it's tied with 10 seconds

Pullen had another chance to tie and the shot was blocked. After a foul, Wisc wins by 5. Another close ending.

Just saw an awesome Coach K comment from today's press conference:
"This is my 101st NCAA game. Do you think I need motivation from a documentary?" The delivery couldn't have been dryer.
Outstanding.

Well, you knocked me out of a post. I was going to share this nugget o'joy but you beat me to it.
Wait...I still got a post out of it. So, here's a new thought. I think Illinois could very well take Kansas down tonight.

The first truly shocking performance of this tournament, in my opinion, is VCU currently pounding Purdue. Purdue appears not even to be trying anymore.
If you had VCU in your Sweet Sixteen, raise your hand.
Now stop lying.

VCU has truly put all the doubters in their places...I'm looking at you Bilas!!
Arizona and Texas was another great ending. 'Zona's length worries me and Williams is a BEAST, but we've handled those all year.
