Well, that didn't take long. Now Blake received "gifts" for his kids private school tuition.

It just keeps getting deeper.

:ymdevil:
Does little Blake have any athletic ability? If so, there goes his college career.

And things are looking more and more gloomy for ECU and UNC Pembroke.

Pity.

You know, if it gets bad enough, our community and technical colleges could be in jeopardy. =)) =))

Marvin Austin, Robert Quinn and Greg Little, aaaaaaahhhhh, seeeee yaaaa! :9f:

Apparently it took an NCAA investigation for them to realize that taking $20K (total) in bling, travel and other benefits was wrong.

It just doesn't get much better than this with the 3 amigos gone. Or does it? More rumors swirling about booster payments to players and HS coaches, coaches involvement, other sports being involved, more tutors and the list goes on. And the hits just keep on coming. :)) =))

Kalani Simpson gives his thoughts at Foxsports.

I’m sick of schools trying to absolve themselves, trying to say the way they do business is fine, everything is cool, it was just a bad apple, or a few of them. But you know what? If you’ve got 13 bad apples – 13 Tar Heels missed the season opener – your problem isn’t agents.

So the media is getting pretty fed up with the stonewalling and silence, and has sued the heels for access to records and documents.

Several Triangle media companies on Thursday sued the University of North Carolina in an attempt to get records relating to investigations of the football team.

Best paid tutor ever?
In the most recent release of public documents by the University of North Carolina, the university released a letter to the tutor, Jennifer L. Wiley, of 6307 Spring Meadow Dr. in Chapel Hill, outlining how she helped student-athletes with both financial and academic assistance that was “impermissible."

The letter says, in 2010 Wiley provided “in excess of $2,000 in connection with travel and transportation issues.” Dick Baddour, UNC director of athletics, wrote that Wiley also "provided impermissible academic assistance" in 2009 and 2010. The letter concludes “the eligibility status of several of our student athletes has been adversely affected.”
