You know, the finish was VERY exciting. I just wish Harvick could have held out longer. He had made a deal with Jamie Mac in the penultimate restart, and pulled one of the ballsiest moves ever on Biffle, but he got hung up, and Jamie Mac found freedom. MEANWHILE, Jr was UNFRICKIN'BELIEVABLE with how he sliced through the field.
And HOW THE HELL did Kenseth finish as well as he did? He just SUCKED all race long, until the end.
So here are the three most surprising drivers who did not perform well: Smoke, JJ, and MM.
Catch Jamie Mac being interviewed after the race? What a nice guy!! I mean, what he went through last year, and to come up big in the 500... it is as good of a feel-good story as it gets. Nice exchange between JamieMac and Biff as well.

I'm not surprised by JJ and MM. They don't do that well on this course, hence I didn't choose either. Am bummed Smoke didn't do better.Lavabe wrote:Blech in kittens was hilarious.

I didn't catch the interview, though wish I had. He does have an incredible story. When they had the last restart, I felt he would win. Granted, he was in first, but that doesn't mean anything at that point in the race.
He and his wife are auctioning off race suits he's worn in the past to raise money for Haiti. Wonder if he'll auction off the suit he wore yesterday.
Isn't it ironic that Theresa Earnhardt wins Daytona, after her three best drives left (Jr., MM, and MT Jr.)?

Re: NASCAR 2010
Not sure what a "said-head" is, but I was picking my picks last night and then got interrupted by MS updates and reboot. I knew I had until today, but didn't remember that it was only until 5:00am this morning . I was snoozing & dreaming of wonderful things at that time this morning. I will definitely be in the next picks now that I know what to do, Lavabe - again many thanks for the call and walking me through everything.Lavabe wrote:I'm thinking that Bones is a Said-head.YmoBeThere wrote:Hmm...wonder who else he chose besides Mark Martin?

You don't want to be two races behind as that will be a very difficult deficit to make up. You should still be able to make picks for the race, you just won't get any qualifying points for the drivers you choose.

Re: NASCAR 2010
I just swapped a couple of bench drivers in for starters so you should probably be able to submit your picks.
