Who BeDeviled the boxscore against Georgia Tech?
Who BeDeviled the boxscore last night?
For those who are new to the BeDeviler poll, vote for the Duke player who you felt made tremendous contributions that do NOT necessarily show up in box scores but nonetheless are an integral part in the result.

Thornton for me. Came in and shut Shumpert down, and hit some free throws.

I would most like to vote for Coach K, as his technical was the catalyst to the run that essentially ended the game.
However, I'm voting for Mason. His box score numbers were actually quite good, and there's the slight strike against him that he fouled out (though it's made even slighter by the presence of Karl Hess et. al.), but he made a number of plays last night that demonstrated serious improvements in his basketball IQ. I remember one in particular where he caught the ball around the 3-point line on the left side, drove the lane and pulled the defense in, then hit a nifty pass to Seth, who promptly buried a 3 ball from the right. I think Mason's brain is catching up to his already formidable body. As that continues to happen, he's going to be a lot of fun to watch, and an absolute load for our opponents.

This was a tough one for me, because there were several great candidates. Ultimately, though, I voted for Mason.
Iron Duke #1471997.

I voted for Mason Plumlee. He played a great 1st half and is starting to become a consistent performer at exactly the right time of the year. Obviously, Tyler Thornton deserves mad props for his defense against Iman Shumpert.

I voted for Kyle 'cause he needs it the most. However, his stat lines weren't too bad. He looked to be working hard to get out of his shooting slump.
