Those rings are just under a 1/4 pound. Just like a fast food burger, except the cheese came included.

Steeler fan chiming in (I believe CB&B is as well, so I'm not the first).

It's a Super Bowl ring and, therefore, is supposed to be big, audacious and tacky. It isn't something to accessorize a designer suit with.

With that said, loud and obnoxious is not the Steeler way. Part of me wishes the team would go with a very modest design because that is what that franchise stands for (the rings should probably be brushed steel

). I guess this is there is the team's one big indulgence.

Go Steelers! Hopefully next year we'll be discussing how they fit seven trophies on the ring!

Ha. I have one EXACTLY like that, except it's just plastic, and a little smaller, and painted silver, and I got it at Walmart.

Trust me. If you had worked for that YOUR WHOLE LIFE, and sweated, bled, and fought for it, you'd think it was the most beautiful thing in the world, and you'd wear that thing EVERYWHERE. ;) It's a football thing.

And when they are really nice, they let others try the ring on.

The Steelers first Super Bowl ring had one diamond and the second one was going to have 2. I'm glad to see that they kept adding diamonds. I do like the colored stones for the Steeler logo.
