Debbie K
I have noticed that Debbie K has not been to the last few basketball games. And dont hear all of the pregame on the radio, going to the games.
But I have heard she had a mild stroke. That is almost unbelievable, since she is in great shape, or seems to be. I think she is 40 years old. I heard several people talking to Mickey K last night at the game, and she said Debbie was OK. I saw Jamie and Lindy there at the game (UAB).
It was the summer of 2007, that Debbie's hubby, had a stroke, while playing basketball with his buddies.
Any updates from you guys!!!
Prayers and Hedge of protection around Debbie K and her hubby and the 4 children, and the rest of the family, while she is recouping.
And the healing of One Toe!!!!
Amen!!

Re: Debbie K
At the risk of this post being pulled, I am going to put it out there that Coach K confirmed to me personally about Debbie's "mild stroke" when I talked him before church Christmas Eve.

Re: Debbie K
Until the K family puts it out there in public, we're not going to talk about it here beyond what's already here. How about we wish Debbie a speedy recovery and leave it at that?

Re: Debbie K
OZZIE..... it was mention on Duke Radio during the pregame for the UNCG game (dec 29)... Because the announcers were wishing her well and a speedy recovery.
Prayers and a speedy recovery.
And I sat behind Mickey K at a game this week!

Re: Debbie K
We all knew this was the case, but out of respect for the family wishes we didn't discuss it on the board. Still no need to, but here's the official word in case you missed it.

I thought I noticed her sitting next to Mickey at the St. John's game on Sunday.

Actually Ozzie, I think it was out of respect for your wishes we weren't allowed to discuss this as you closed a thread and deleted posts with your super secret moderating powers.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:We all knew this was the case, but out of respect for the family wishes we didn't discuss it on the board. When I spoke to Coach, he didn't say anything to me about the family's wishes that I not discuss what he told me with anyone.

I still don't think we need to discuss it here or anywhere else.
