Meeting Shane Battier!!!

Post by Bostondevil » January 3rd, 2011, 11:30 am

I'm taking Andrew plus one friend to the Celtics/Rockets game next Monday night followed by a meet and greet with Shane Battier. It's Andrew's birthday present which he has deemed 'Cool!'

Couple suggestions:

1. Make sure he knows about your play. ;)
2. Ask him who his Daddy is. :D

That's a great B-day present.

Actually, I think you should write a play entitled "Meeting Shane Battier!"

Neat! I like the play idea, too, but what a terrific birthday present.

Very cool indeed!

Do you remember the poster that Bethany Peters used to take to Cameron when Shane played at Duke? It was a Gold Mastercard with Shane's likeness on it that read "Shane Takes Charge!" Perhaps you could do something similar - I'm sure he'd remember the original and would love it!

Way cool. What a great birthday happening. Shane is my most favorite basketball ever. Of course, he did great at Duke but more important to me, because of who he is as a person. :ymhug:

I agree with all of the above, and I add the following: will you adopt me? :D

Duke Club of Boston organized the event and I put in for tickets the second I found out about it. No time to question the expense (3 tickets at $100 a piece) but in terms of birthday memories? Priceless.
