I was surprised to not see Hairston or Thornton go in, not for relief but rather for their able contributions. Hairston looks to be the best of the 'Bench Cheerleaders'.Bob Green wrote: 4. I don't buy into the "tired legs" conspiracy theories but I would like to see Hairston and Thornton play some minutes during ACC games for experience reasons.

Bob, thanks for giving us insight. I picked up on some of this while watching the game Sunday, and reading this makes me feel smart!Bob Green wrote:Miami game takeaways:
1. Nolan Smith is our current MVP. If he keeps it up, he will compete for ACC POY and 1st Team AA.
2. Andre Dawkins played great and is diversifying his game. The pump fake in the corner and drive down the baseline was great!
3. Plumlee/Plumlee/Kelly combined for 16 points, 22 rebounds and 8 blocked shots. Those whining about our bigs are either blind or do not understand the "team" concept.

Re: Duke vs. Miami
me three. I really like our big man rotation - and Kelly is definitely making an impact. And Dawkins has made a huge improvement on both ends of the court this season. But he still looks like he's 15.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:Me, too.lawgrad91 wrote:Bob, thanks for giving us insight.
