Sorry, man. If you want to try and relieve the pressure under your toenail (lessens the pain, but you'll def'nly lose the nail), PM me and I'll tell you how. It involves a pin, fire, and some self-drilling.
It really does help the pain though...removes the pressure and it feels much better but you need a strong stomach.
It does, I swear. I did it to myself after accidently getting my thumb caught in the hinge-side of a door. FELT SOOOOO much better once the pin broke the barrier and the blood oozed out. AHhhhhh!

I'm finishing a painting tonight. If you don't see it tomorrow it means I fugged it up, or I passed out before I took a picture of it.

I'm downloading Revolver and Sgt. Peppers. Whichever finishes first wins, and gets played. (SP is currently in the lead)

If one of them doesn't hurry the hell up, I'm gonna DL some Floyd. Wish you were here, baby. I might do it anyway. Enya is tempting, but I'd fall asleep on my painting. Peter Gabriel is tempting too, but my painting would look like a football player on acid. (HA, it's halfway there anyways) (Don't do drugs kids)
I'm listening to "the Spa" on DirecTV now, really great channel, but without mind altering substances and an excuse to stay awake, I'll be out like a light. Soooooooooooooo, hurry the hell up Paul and Ringo and George and JebusImeanJohn.
Crapola, 30 min to finish the DLoad, 5 minutes to burn. goo goo goo joob.

Edit---"Mind altering substances" can mean beer, so don't judge.

My wife just asked "Do you know that song?" and I said "Yeah that's "Let It Be". (It was an instrumental on that "spa" channel". I asked "Do you know what I"m downloading?" and she said "It better the be the Beatles 'cause that's what I want to listen to now" . I'm a marital prophet.

One year ago I bought a pressure cooker to can my veggies from my garden. I read in the manual that I could can meat as well, so I did. I just ate one year old pulled pork. It tastes like I just made it. Seriously. If I wake up dead, I did something wrong.

So I actually had a GREAT time at UNC during the past two days. I was slightly nervous about it beforehand because I knew I would be one of the few Caucasian people there. Turns out, I was probably just as comfortable around the people there as I would have been at a "Project Uplift" for Caucasians, and I probably got more out of it. I even learned to Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. I know I shouldn't be posting this on a Duke board, but the school/institution segment of UNC isn't so bad - just the sports and the fans... Mostly the fans.

I've decided to become a Robertson Scholar though. A full ride to spend half of your time at Duke and the other half at Carolina. Sound like a great deal :) Too bad it's not THAT easy...

Anyways, another I am working on fulfilling another requirement needed to be admitted to the fine and prestigious university known as Duke. The SAT II Subject Tests! I get to wake up early tomorrow and take yet another standardized test. I was looking through the review book this week, and I realized how poorly my Pre-Cal teacher prepared us... I might end up taking Math I sometime next year if I do as bad as I expect on Math II.

Send me some good vibes! (%) *-:)

Ooh, ooh, I've got plenty of "standardized testing" vibes to send your way - I LOVE standardized tests (no, really, I'm weird like that) but haven't had a reason to take one since 2000. Good luck!

And some extra vibes for the Duke admission!

Yeah, I've always done well on them too, for some reason. I'll throw mine out there too. ;) I don't know if i'd say I LOVE them like DA, but I definitely can think of tons of WORSE things to do with my time. And my scores got me into both my secondary school and Duke when my grades and extra curriculars probably weren't as good as some.

Sending vibes along as well!

Last standardized test I took was the GMAT in 1994! Unless you count the tests to get into Mensa - like a whole days worth... Yuck.

Abby sends them too. We just got her post-first grade testing back. In two full days of testing, and 7 sections, she got a grand total of 4 questions wrong. :D

(I love to brag about my daughter. :x )
