I'm driving to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow (Wednesday) for business and a visit to the folks. Looks like I'll be driving through that dang tropical storm thing tomorrow afternoon for half of Florida on I-95 :(

Ah, is that the same tropical storm that has caused the cancellation of the Hurricanes game in Florida? Be safe!

It's kind of funny that a Hurricanes game was canceled due to a tropical storm. If you said that to someone who did not realize the Hurricanes was a sports team, it would sound awfully strange.

So Hurricanes don't get any courtesy (professional or otherwise) from tropical storms? That doesn't seem fair!

Ozzie, have a good trip, and be careful. :9f:

Rain started early today as I didn't think it was forecast to begin until this afternoon. Not raining cats and dogs yet but there are poodles starting to form. /:) 8-|

Does anyone know how long a cubit is? And where can I find some gopher wood?

A cubit is thought to be 18 inches.

If you find gopher wood, let me know and I'll go in halfsies with you on it. We could use an ark as well.

I own a piece of waterfront property.

Is anyone jealous?

A little rain in nc yesterday morning when I left, then moderate rain for 50 miles around Jacksonville, FL. Other than that it was clear driving! :happy-bouncyblue:

raining, raining, raining, raining. I am sooooo glad I'm not outside. So far, we have one small leak in the roof and a neighbor's tree in our front yard but not on the house. I'm glad our house is on a hill. Nicole is a bitch

I can only imagine what that lake under the last intersection before the bridge looks like, careful going to work tomorrow.

Me too!
I had an answer for the heavy rains this morning. I'm sick. =))
Apologies to Rodney Carrington for the suggestion...his joke.
"Yeah I'm sick. I'm f$*#king my sister. Is that sick enough for ya?" :))

Can't run away from Monday's prediction. More rain scheduled for up here. Yep, I'll be right there in it.
If I can make it to retirement, it'll take an act of God to make me go out in the rain and snow. :|

Our courthouse opened at 10 this morning. I haven't had lunch yet. Or breakfast.
