Did you bring back souvenirs? What was the first real food you had (airport food doesn't count)? How long do you get to stay in the Land of the Lost before you ship off for some other destination?

First food: Louisville's "Lynn's Paradise Cafe," which was featured on "Throwdown with Bobby Flay." Killer frittata and french toast.
Staying in Kentucky for a bit (two conferences in the next month and a half).

First real eggs in ages (about 4 months), 10 days without beef, and virtually no dairy as well... yeah, I went with the real stuff.devildeac wrote:Hope that was an egg beaters frittata and grilled french toast .
Getting back into the whole grain options again. Hard to find whole grain stuff in Kyoto.
