What ROCKY movie was your favorite?
Yes, I'm serious. This, to me, is a tough vote. Rocky I, as Fordgirl and I have discussed, set everything up, but it moves pretty slowly. Still, it is the beginning..........the epicenter. It is a great movie. That said, after Rocky I set everything up, my favorite is Rocky II.
I also enjoyed the final movie and thought it was well done.
Everything after Rocky III and before the final version was to me, trash.
Still, I love the whole Rocky series. Love it.

P.S. Fordgirl bought the box set of first three (Rockys) for me. She rocks!

Why isn't 'none of them' an option?

Nope, none of them. I couldn't stand the way Stallone talked as the Rocky character. It just grated on my nerves like fingernails down a blackboard so I couldn't stomach watching the movies.

Is this really a question? it, along with such a poll for favorite Star Trek movie, is an old, dead debate.
Rocky 3 first, followed oh-so-closely by 2, then 1, 4 and the very last one. A true Rocky fan does not acknowledge the existence of Rocky 5.

Re: What ROCKY movie was your favorite?
In 1976, I was in the 9th grade. My social studies class decided that we wanted to take a field trip. We convinced our teacher to take us to Philadelphia, since it was the Bicentennial year. We went to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Betsy Ross House, Carpenter's Hall, and other historical places. Our FAVORITE stop on our trip, however, was the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We got out of our charter bus and ran up and down the steps, just like Rocky!
Sadly, we never saw Dr. J. We kept looking for him, but we never encountered him.
In honor of my 9th grade friends with whom I will reunite next month, I vote for the original Rocky.
