Women, Are Ties Hot?

Post by EarlJam » September 9th, 2010, 11:40 pm

We have oft discussed men's love of nylons, hose, etc. on this board. Women seem to hate nylons while most (not all) men think they are hotter n' hell. I don't think many women know or understand just how hot men think nylons are. Women, trust us, they are HOT.

But perhaps we can relate. I hate ties. I have ties. Sometimes I like ties. Ties can be fun. Ties can be a lot of fun. But overall, if I could eliminate ties, I would. It's much like women say, "I can't wait to get out of these stockings (again, hot); men say, "I gotta get out of this tie."

I wonder. Are women thinking, "Please don't lose the tie!"

I always thought that one of my ties and dress shirts looked really hot... on my wife. ;)

I once heard a comedian say he thought it convenient for depressed businessmen that they tied little nooses around their necks every morning. Come in handy when the stock market takes a dive.

I love ties. I love a silk tie with a dimple below the knot.

Needed an "it depends" option.

For example, extremely hot on the con artist in White Collar and meh on the FBI agent.

not the best example, but what I could find for now:

Who do you think will show up at the next Brunchgate/any Brunchgate wearing a tie now? :-?

And hopefully, a shirt and shorts/pants to accompany said cravat.

I didn't specify anything about other attire. ;) :ymblushing:

I still have my Dad's Jerry Garcia tie - I could wear that if I knew how to tie it.

I agree. I mean, I am sure your wife looks hot in the combo, but overall I think women look very hot in their guys shirt, with the tie on but loosely fashioned. Of course tie is optional.

Not sure as to the rationale as to why they look so great, but then again.... How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does the sun set? How exactly does a positracl rear end on a '69 Plymouth work? It just does

We could do a serious cha-cha to this tune. \:d/

Wonder if AD and/or lawgrad could have a nice work-out to this.

Yes, men in ties/suits is hot, but maybe not quite to the level of hot as you guys enjoy stockings on women.... Not often do you get to see men in suits (unless for their job I guess).. Its fun to get all dressed up once in a while if you have a place to go.

This is a nice tie...
