A friend of mine posted this on FB today. Take the time to watch the whole thing. It's hysterical. Disturbing, yet hysterical.

BTW, who has 5 hour rain delays? Don't they eventually postpone it?

Hmm... is it now acceptable to write "logon" instead of "log on?" ~o)

Yes it is. I think there is a performance tonight, plus tomorrow and Saturday. I'm going Saturday night. I also seem to remember that they are having a Saturday afternoon matinee! Here's the link one more time http://www.1111theatre.com/.

Could have been your threat to make people disappear. :-o People tend to run away when they're threatened with "disappearing". 8-x 8-x 8-x 8-x 8-x

Hey, Wilson, do you have one of these? I think you need one:

Image

I've always LOVED this sword and wanted one. I have a broad sword I bought in Toledo, Spain, and a claymore, and a zatoichi (my only "sharpened" sword), and several daggers. Most of these are hanging on my walls, but I've never had the money at the right time to get myself a cutlass, thought I think they are one of the cooler blades out there. You TOTALLY need to get yourself a cutlass if you don't already have one. The one in the picture is pretty cool, but I always liked the ones with a little heftier blade. ;)

The better to slice a pineapple open with.
Hawaiian ones are the best. I'm damn tired and sick of all the ones here on the mainland, that only either come from The Philippines or Costa Rica. :-l They blame it on union costs.

You might want to rephrase mainland as local to where you are... we can get HI pineapple here in CA. :)

I didn't realize. Good for you! They won't ship it this far unless special ordered.

:( My car has officially left the building. They came and loaded it onto the flatbed truck and hauled it off to the "auto pool". I don't think it will have much fun at the pool - the driver said they don't like manual transmissions.

It did look happy to have the prime spot over the top of the cab as the truck drove off.

I wonder if the cars sit around in lounge chairs and drink beer or if they'd rather play games like Marco Polo or Sharks and Minnows at the auto pool.

So, here I am, sitting at home doing laundry while frantically trying to finish my poster presentation. I head out on Saturday to a big conference in Philadelphia; poster has to be uploaded tomorrow! (insert "eek" smiley here...) One of my co-workers has been on vacation this week, which means I've been doing her job plus my job while trying to finish the poster. I look forward to the conference because I'll have a chance to slow down and rest! How sad is that?!

So, this is my first trip to Philly. Recommendations?
