Supposedly at least one of them is coming over tonight with Jen...and she told me she let them have it for leaving the mess they did. Anyways...
On the brighter side, my living room is now totally rearranged.

I just pulled my NordicTrack out of the closet where it has set for over a year. I bought it a thrift store for $25 bucks, they sell them new for $700.lawgrad91 wrote:The way you want it, I hope.CameronBornAndBred wrote:On the brighter side, my living room is now totally rearranged.
So...time to work on my beer belly.

By the way...these things are hard as hell to use, I'm pretty good at cross country skiing, but I suck on this. It's gonna take a bit of practice to not break my neck.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I just pulled my NordicTrack out of the closet where it has set for over a year. You don't have a beer belly. It's a storage reservoir...CameronBornAndBred wrote:I just pulled my NordicTrack out of the closet where it has set for over a year. $25, that's not bad for a coat rack! That's how most of them are used!CameronBornAndBred wrote: I just pulled my NordicTrack out of the closet where it has set for over a year. I bought it a thrift store for $25 bucks, they sell them new for $700.

I'd be willing to double your money.
I have a homemade Soloflex that I doubled money on. Mine.
After I sold it, I began putting on weight for winter.

Not dredging this thread back up for any reason other than to say thank you to everyone of you. I've been through this deal before, but as I was walking my dogs tonight I was thinking that this experience has been easier on me and I was wondering why...I was pretty sure I hadn't become jaded or caloused due to the previous experience. It hit me as I passed the mailbox..I didn't have this amazing source of support before, I didn't have the family that CTN provides. Previously I had to deal with her absence, and then me, myself and I. This go around, it still sucks, but having you (and a shoutout to other facebook friends) to keep me moving forward has been awesome.
Every day I move forward more, and each day I look back less. Thanks everyone for helping me stay focused on what's ahead. (This even includes Mr. DukePA, of the other color...he has his one flaw, but he's a great host and even better chef)

I think that the little community we've formed out of our love for Duke Basketball is truly remarkable. What a wonderful group of caring friends we have to rely upon here--and in person.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Not dredging this thread back up for any reason other than to say thank you to everyone of you. I also am glad to have CTN people in my life. DukePA hit it on the nose when she said "families can in different ways". Glad your doing this one easier than the last one. Your the best.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Not dredging this thread back up for any reason other than to say thank you to everyone of you. Too true.
It is also fun to try to explain to other friends (in the flesh ones) how everyone here is a friend even though many of us have never met. Despite having never met, I'm betting there isn't one of us who would hesitate to open our home to another if they were in our area for a visit.
