DD, if y'all are checking the board while driving, you've got some nasty weather to drive through when you get to the land of missing D and E. Lavabe, you already know this cause you're in it.

Believe it or not, it's passing south of us. We have sun and lawn mowing right now. Then again, it could change very quickly.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:DD, if y'all are checking the board while driving, you've got some nasty weather to drive through when you get to the land of missing D and E. OMG. We learned about Iron City many years ago. We lived in D.C. It cost $1.00 a six pack. Gross stuff.

My ex-husband went through spells of being addicted to Iron City Light. He was a big Pittsburgh Steeler fan and thought Pittsburgh was heaven, when he wasn't thinking he was going to hell for drinking a beer.

Re: The Devildeacs great adventure to the Land of the Lost
Cooked breakfast this AM with scrambled eggs and cheese, hash browns, grilled honey chicken strips.
Cheesesteak for lunch at the Paddy Wagon, an Irish Pub in Richmond, home of EKU. Accompanied by an Old Rasputin. On draft. Review to follow. Lavabe's Arrogant Bastard on draft was pretty damned tasty, too. I did not taste enough of his to warrant a review. That's his post .
Nap. Darn near 2 hours. It was a 9% imperial stout. At about 2 PM.
Dinner with almost all the ingredients from the farmers market with medium rare sirloin steak strips, more grilled honey chicken, a chee'burger, funny-looking broccoli, sugar snap peas and grilled corn-on-the-cob.
More birthday cake with a small sliver of Italian cream cake from Thursday's dinner/party/dessert and a small slice of triple coconut cake, last night's dessert.
A long walk. A shower. A night cap .
The ladies all went shopping and made a 2nd trip to the farmer's market.

An egg beaters omelette with onions, tomatoes, bacon and cheese, some fresh strawberries and honey-laden cornbread. That was enough for breakfast and lunch.Lavabe wrote:And today...?devildeac wrote:Cooked breakfast this AM with scrambled eggs and cheese, hash browns, grilled honey chicken strips.

Day-am. Staying with the Lavabes is better than a Residence Inn ;)
Now, back to my regulary scheduled exercise program with an extra workout or three to shed the fine food weight I added this weekend.
