I still don't think we're the favorites, but in my estimation, our odds have roughly doubled in the past seven days.
Here's to redoubling them this weekend.
Even if we win the title, the shirt don't go up. He's gotta have a NPOY or NDPOY award and/or some sort of all-time Duke and/or NCAA record, too.
You're right. Think Chris Duhon.

Quite possible for him to get it, if he remains hot, and if he scores two Nolan Smith (vs. Baylor) performances in the next two games. Note that the NCAA, in its infinite wisdom, calls it the Tournament MOP ("O" for outstanding). A couple of double-double's would help.

Well, the boys redoubled title odds over the weekend, and then some. God, I love this team.

Congrats to Jon for making the AP All American second team!
James Anderson of Oklahoma State was sixth in the balloting with 27 votes and was joined on the second team by Sherron Collins of Kansas, Greivis Vasquez of Maryland, Jon Scheyer of Duke and Da'Sean Butler of West Virginia.

Just read the article in the Trib about how Chicago should be proud of Jon. But, the votes show the majority still resents and boos him for coming to Duke. They have small, sick minds...bless their hearts.

I'm wondering when was that last time a recruit left this area to go away and play ball for another school. Did he incur such wrath of the local gentry? Guess that would be Wall and the answer is no.

Love, Ima

Realized I never updated this at the end of the year...

Season
Points: 728
Assists: 194
Turnovers: 65
Asst:TO ratio: 2.98:1

Career
Points: 2077
Assists: 440
Turnovers: 211
Asst:TO ratio: 2.09:1

So close to 200 assists for the year...
