I honestly believe that, although they were already struggling at the time, Roy Williams' comments on the radio dropped a nuclear bomb on team chemistry, further wrecking the team's chances. He slammed the fan base then, unbelievably, slammed one of his own players in front of all those desire-lacking fans. He sent the message to his team: "Coach doesn't believe in us."
Seems to me you'd be slighty less motivated to bust your ass for a coach that has "performed" like Roy has in his post-loss press conferences.
Friggin' dangit. Well, dad gum, hopefully he'll have a lot more opportunities to call his players out and bash the baby blue fan base.
