I've actually had them turn me down one time, out of literally hundreds of phone calls. It was due to a client having a pirated version of XP on their system that their previous IT company had sold them. It was pretty fun giving MS all of the contact info for that jackass.

Had a customer who was ratted out by a disgruntled ex-employee. Rumor around town was some guys with badges came in and started locking down equipment. Big fines ensued.

Disgruntled employees are like over 95% the reason MS busts anyone for licensing issues..and they can lay down some heavy fines.
