Kelly and I are gearing up for the final holiday feasts! Tonight; paella with dry-aged Spanish chorizo, chicken, clams, shrimp and lobster tails (for garnish ;-)). Tomorrow we're doing dry-aged ribeyes (thanks for the inspiration Tim), fried mushroom cakes and some other little side. Friday I'm preparing a batch of chili that we're taking to the mountains; our friend is having her 30th Birthday Party and throwing a mini-cookoff at their cabin. And of course New Year's Day I'll be makin Hoppin John!

We're ending 2009 in style! We're staring 2010 with heartburn medication and new gym memberships. :-p

I'm in greenville, NC... anyone know where I can get fresh oysters to roast/steam on the grill?

Call any local seafood market, but if you can get them from a family run business you are better off...they probably fished the oysters themselves. Here at the beach, we actually have to call a few days in advance to reserve them, they don't harvest what they don't expect to sell.
Duke born, Duke bred, cooking on a grill so I'm tailgate fed.
