2cnd Football Painting

Post by CameronBornAndBred » May 7th, 2009, 12:42 am

This is my second one from the spring game. I'm gonna paint a couple other subjects next, and then come back to these.

Another great piece of art, Chris!

You should have brought it, or at least the first painting, to Greenville on Tuesday night and shown it to Coach Cut!

As I told you on Facebook, WOW!

Nice job, Chris! That's 2 for 2! I wonder if you keep this up, if you would be allowed to have an exhibit this fall! I bet if no restrictions apply that you might find many interested admirers and supporters! Kaa-Ching! Awesome work! :-bd :ymapplause:

I'm curious. What is the physical size of the paintings?

The first one was 30" x 17", this one is 24" x 14"(ish, I haven't measured the second one, but that's close)

When I was growing up, my parents had tons of Charley Harper prints in the house. One of my favorites was titled "The Last Sunflower Seed", and had one cardinal in a group getting away with the last seed. My painting here reminds me alot of that one, it was on my mind the whole time while I painted it. Thad would be the cardinal with the last seed.
