WOO HOO!!!
Okay, that's just cool that you know who the photographer is.

It's even cooler that you're headed to the field.

Has the political turmoil calmed down a bit there?

I'll be keeping low when I stay at the capital. Otherwise, all seems to be fine where I'll be going.

That may have been a Lanting photo... that's my guess. It looks like the lead photo he took for a NatGeo story about 15-20 years ago.

I'll be teaching at the university a little, then I'll be in the so-called unprotected forests, looking at traditional sacred groves, and human/nonhuman primate interactions. I'll be able to post through late June, but NO idea what will happen after that. ;)

I do know one thing... by the end of the field season, Tilly or colchar will be leading the TOWEL NASCAR fantasy league. :o)

In an entirely different direction, for those looking for lemurs today, check out the front page of http://www.live.com!
Did you have anything to do with that?
I wish! If so, lemurs would figure prominently in the rotation! :D

I posted lemur pics on my Facebook page. They're in Album #1 of my Duke 25th Reunion pics.

And I know the photographer for many of those pics--clbunchofnumbers! :-h

Someone complained the other day about having to scroll down to hit the submit button. Unlike on TOBY, the smilies are NOT between the post window and the submit button. So, if you just hit tab twice, you can hit return to submit your post. Saves a little time and some frustration. Just thought people would like to know.

I'm surprised he didn't get censored for that one. I guess mods ARE immune over there. ;)

I believe it's "The One We Enthusiastically Left". I still like TOBY, but it's probably cause I made it up. Ah, I guess my internet fame will have to wait another day. =((

Thank you for this tip. Hopefully, I will remember it. I just tried it and it works great - now to train myself to use it.
