I had no idea anyone still got Good Friday off!
The schools and everything else here in FL are open business as usual.

Everything is closed up here - most businesses, schools, universities, government offices, banks, etc.

The stock markets are closed, so whatever remains of the financial servces industry here is generally closed. Banks and POs though open.

I've got an online account with Sharebuilder, not a lot of cash in it, but it's fun to watch. (I have over tripled my initial investment without adding any more funds, so that's cool too!) I hate days when the markets are closed, at least watching stocks kept me from being completely bored. It's even fun to watch stock that I don't own, in this market it's like an elevator on steroids the way they go up and down. It can be better than TV. (But not better than posting :D )

This is my first post in the LTE. Woot.

Has anyone invited Miles and Ymo yet?

Welcome to the LTE! I don't know a damn thing about stocks, other than buy low and don't be greedy. I don't know about Miles and Ymo, PM them on DBR to see if they know.

I just noticed that. What a cool feature.
Chris was just noticing that the online banner ribbon seems to be overlayed by the avatar now that they've moved from right side to left side.

The LTE has just over 1/4 of all the posts on the new board. How shocking. ;)
