Sigh. Kevin White seems to be doing a really good job, so I doubt there will be an opening anytime soon.TillyGalore wrote:If Ozzie becomes AD, I have no doubt you will get the ultimate phone call. Yeah, DT had his day, still waiting for the ultimate phone call that would seal my deal. May never happen and I'll live with that.
Now I gotta add this to my faves and delete one;)
Thanks, Chuck

Bernie Madoff seemed to be doing a good job and look where he is now. I'm not saying Dr. White is in the same category as ole Bernie. But, things aren't always as the seem.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:Sigh. Kevin White seems to be doing a really good job, so I doubt there will be an opening anytime soon.

A belated welcome to the party, DukeTaylor! I can't believe no one has suggested the "Windsor's Daughter is Hot" thread. One of our earlier (and funnier) threads.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Windsor's Daughter's Mom played an active role in that thread so I think DT will be able to handle it.

Yep, but it was funnier to say it the other way (at least I thought so).

I appreciate all the acclaim, tho' I'm not worthy.
I am happy that my daughter texted me today that she scored 1330 on her first attempt on her SATs (she's a Jr in HS), which, when coupled with her GPA, which is perfect, so far, she's able to go almost anywhere. It was funny tonight when I told her if she wanted any help to get into any school in the country she asked me how I could help. Even my wife was surprised when I asked that, thinking I don't don't know anybody or anything. I wouldn't even know which emoticon to even insert at this point. Sheesh!!
