I think part of my trouble this week is that I haven't been doing as much walking with the dog. Hopefully the deluge we are getting now will ease off a little.

Knitting website of the day -
http://www.masondixonknitting.com/. There's nothing funny here, I just love these two. I've met them, twice, at book signings and they are just delightful.

Now will somebody please come over to my house and kick me in the pants until I finish my play? My October 15 deadline is looming large. There are now many reasons to finish by then. Important reasons. Reasons I shouldn't be ignoring. I feel almost paralyzed with the inability to write and the inability to do anything else besides surf the web. Help!

Here's a virtual kick in your pants since I can't make the drive this weekend.
And a hug because I hate that you're feeling that way. Been there before and it's a major bummer.

Many thanks, but I don't really need ideas. I know where I'm going, I just have to make myself get there. I wrote 2 scenes this afternoon and was late picking up Ronnie from preschool as a result. The last line I wrote today?
Enough foreplay, wench, take me to bed.

A friend sent this to me today...
You know that you should clean the outside of your computer screen every so often.
However, did you know that you're supposed to clean the inside of the screen, too?
Not many people know this or how to do it. So, here's a complementary cleaning.

That's very cute!
Now, how do I get all that slobber off the inside of the screen?

Welcome back. Everything smooth so far with with the move/job transition?
So far so good, but they won't deliver my stuff until Monday morning. Which is at the end of the delivery window. C'est la vie!
How are the cats?
Doing much better than I expected. They don't really have any place to hide which they don't like. As far as the ride down here, they slept the whole way.

No. That damn thread locks up my Internet Explorer on my home computer. It doesn't happen on my work computer, and it works fine in Firefox. Must be a Vista/IE/geek conflict.

It's our turn for the deluge. The thunderstorms are just training over Lexington. Hopefully we won't have what happened in Atlanta.

wilson, you'll like this story. I took Ronnie (age 4) grocery shopping yesterday. The Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Cookies magazine is out. Yes, it's September. I bought it anyway. I love the Christmas Cookies issue. Anyway, I showed it to Ronnie and he said, "For me? You shouldn't have! I love it!"
