I hate to miss you all today. My husband is riding in the Cycle North Carolina so we're leaving this morning for Blowing Rock, where the ride starts. I'll be trying to find the game on the radio and wearing Duke gear, but I hope you'll all add a bit of volume during the game for me.
GO DUKE!!

I picked up a dozen Dunkin Donuts, assorted, that I'm bringing as a "bonus". I predict that 11 of them will make it to the Card Gym lot... =))

No, they only gave me 12, not 13. I had a $1 off coupon that I printed out.

I've always liked their jelly donuts. Always! Got 4 glazed, 4 jelly and 4 chocolate covered cremes. I further predict that a jelly donut will be the missing one!

It doesn't look like K68 and I will be coming tonight. We're both feeling a little under the weather. I'll probably make a brief appearance as I'm meeting CellR prior to brunchgate and told him I'd bring him over to the party.

In 4th qtr with less than about 10 min left, NC Central has 14 and Duke has 49, .....holey moley!!!! What is the highest FB score Duke has achieved, ever? This is a first for me to experience!!!! This is frick'n impressive!!!!

Pretty good turnout with a few new faces like CellR (great to meet you and your cool family) and August West (always great to talk with you). Good culinary delights though the devildeacs did not partake of too much due to a mid-afternoon dinner/lunch at a wedding reception. The rain did little to dampen the spirits of the attendees.

And a great time was had by all! Again!

Sorry Tilly and K68 were feeling bad but probably good you stayed home and a) got better and b) didn't infect us! Look forward to seeing you next Saturday morning :) Tilly, please bring my slap koozy if you found it.

Great job by TNT and CB&B on the cooking. Wings, Q and hot dog buns (to go with my dogs) were great!

Nice meeting CellR and his dad and grandparents. And thanks to CellR senior for funding next week's food (by insisting they pay for the tickets they got from VDB).

Hancock4Duke and his dad, Woot came by for an hour. I played club football with Woot and Joe Wolfe ( who was with them too) back in the day. I wanted to introduce Woot to Tilly, because Woot WAS the Blue Devil back in 1974 :D

A heads up for next weeks Brunchgate. The tents will be up by 8, and TNT plans on getting there about then. He's mentioned sausage and something about Gobler (turkey) legs in honor (?) of our opponent. I expect we'll also have eggs, and maybe french toast. The tents will remain up after the game for about an hour so we can continue our party after the game - plan to stay around!

Sorry I couldn't come visit yesterday. We usually come to games with some friends, and no one wanted to go over early. We didn't get into the stadium until a few minutes into the game. I look forward to the next one!
